Got me bbeat on that, I don't know what a J boat is nor the ranger nor
shamrock. Are these destroyers? The only company that I can think of that
makes destroyers is sterling and i wouldn't tell my worst enemy to tackle one
of their kits.

I built one like that a couple of years ago, maybe two, It was a aqua
skipper type of boat with a aircraft engine and prop. It was supposed to sit
low in the water and when it reached a bit of speed lift and run on the
surface. It ended up pushing so much water that the bow wave washed in over
the deck and that was the end of them sea trials. Yep its shelf bound now,
with $200 of radio gear still sitin in it.

I would imaging that if you used ground equipment there should be no problem.
The only reason that you don't mix your ground with your air freqs here in
Canada is because you might screw up somebodies playtime.
Nobody else really seems to care unless your at a meet.
