Difficult to say what kind of pitching they faced, though. The thing about
great hitting is it leaves no room for error on the pitcher's part. But I
still think a great pitcher who is on his game could virtually shut down just
about any lineup. But again, the key is being on their game. Great hitters
make you pay for mistakes.
