CR> Hi Clarence,
Hi ya' brother "Squid" Charlie! :)
CR> I'm trying out a new service on the internet whereby I can answer
CR> fidonet messages online. Hope this works. :)
Well I have found a local number that offers FREE Internet service
and I hope to get it set up soon with the help of my sysop! :)
I just downloaded a seven and a half million byte program to be
able to access it, now all I like is getting it set up!

-> CR> Spurgeon, Charles H., Morning and Evening, (Oak Harbor, WA: Logos

->
-> CH> Brother Charles, absolutely no disrespect whatsoever is meant,
-> CH> but I must ask this question after reading your post..."How
-> CH> can a person be "saved" and "die" at the same time?"!
CR> I don't understand your, question, Clarence. Please clarify exactly
CR> what it is you're asking? Also, please note that I didn't write this
CR> article. It is a devotional from Spurgeon's Morning and Evening for
CR> the evening of December 31st.
Oops, sorry, but thought that you would understand the process! But
anywhichaway, to try and clarify...of course when we are "saved" we
are then an the angels and in our NEW incorruptible bodies once again
and therefore can never die again, unless of course we are cast into
the lake of fire, right? And no, I do not see as to where I indicated
that you wrote the article, but you did write the post, correct? :)
-> CH> It would seem to me that this is indeed the question of the
-> CH> ages and few there be that have answered it satisfactorily in
-> CH> the past 6000 years, due to the fact that the devil has kept
-> CH> the answer in complete confusion, right?
-> CR> Romans 5:12-21 answers that question, Clarence.
-> How so brother Charlie, for all that Ro 5:12-21 speaks about is
-> physical death of these mortal temporary houses/temples that we
-> are now duelling in, right?
CR> Physical death is the proof that spiritual death came upon all
CR> humanity through the sin of one man, Adam. We are all dead spiritually
CR> and separated from God because of Adam's rebellion against God's
CR> probationary command not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good
CR> and evil.
Most certainly we are ALL dead spiritually, for we were dead spiritually
before we entered this life through the womb of a woman, right? All
that Adam did was to listen to his wife which brought the death of the
fleshly body with it, correct? For Adam was not in the transgression
but Eve was, right?
-> CR> We all shall die a
-> CR> physical death unless the Lord returns first.
-> Of that, there is no doubt for it is appointed unto men once to
-> die, but after this the judgment! Right?
-> CR> However, in another
-> CR> since those who live and believe in Christ will never die:)
-> How so, since the devils believe also, right?
CR> I was only quoting from John's Gospel, Clarence. Of course, the full
CR> teaching of the Bible is much more indepth. We also must repent and
CR> live a godly life in Christ Jesus:)
Of course you were brother Charlie! And indeed so it is! Most
certainly without any doubt whatsoever my brother, for He said for
to be Holy as He is Holy, correct? It has always been beyond me
how people can think that they can become "gods" and still remain
sinful and unholy! :'(
-> CR> I'm not
-> CR> confused about it at all.
