Thanks for all the info!! I'll take your advice, and work on getting
this running properly, the first chance I get. Some of the software
that I want to try to run on VICE is stuff that came from LoadStar.
Those are still copyrighted, so they probably aren't available on the
net in .d64 format - one would hope, anyway!
I have several games from the LoadStar-128 disks that I play on my
"real" C-128 -- and I'd like to try them out on the emulator. Also
have a few utilities, like a postal barcode printing utility - for
making mailing labels. That only works in 128 mode.
It looks like I may have to try doing all of this under the WinVice
program, rather than the DOS version. But the VICE website sorta
advises to use the DOS version -- if I recall correctly, what I read
over there.
