I didn't come to this lightly.  I ran statistical reports of posting
levels.  In fido and other networks.  It is clearly down as little as 66%
to 233%
in some areas.  When posting goes that means I go.  I've always been an
active poster doing over 100,000 msgs in the last decade alone.  When echos
that just 2 years ago got 300 a day get only 3 a day then its time to fade
away.  I'll still call around and post 3-4 times a year. But the break will
allow me to get
to other good projects I have going on programming and elsewise.
