Yeah, that is machine-specific, so I just made it a requirement that you
have to create them first.

It does.  Go "-p*.pkt" and unix will stop trying to expand the
"*". If that doesn't work, try '-p*.pkt'.

More likely you didn't run the experiment properly.

Yes, I documented that you would need to redefine all the keys to ctrl
keys.  I don't know why the Alt keys don't come through.  If you type in
"msged -k", then any key you can get a keycode for, can be used.
