But the prosecution wasn't done yet, either. Rumor had it there was at least
one other witness with a similar account. And the defense already had pretty
much their entire case thrown out by the judge. When you're weighing your
job against at least a decent possibility of spending several years in
prison, I'd give up the job, too. And there's no guarantee he would have
kept his job even with an acquittal.

Agreed, but I think the kink had more to do with him being fired than the
assault & battery conviction. The guilty plea just made it much more
convenient.

The way Green Bay is playing, Tampa Bay might start giving them trouble. Of
course, the Cowboys aren't exactly impressing, either.
