Wet with rain, snow and strong winds in northern Europe, fair eastern
Mediterranean
Sunday
Heavy showery rain in Portugal and Spain through the day, some thundery
near the coast. Drier but cloudy in east Spain and the Balearics.
Clouds and drizzle arriving on west coasts of Mediterranean Islands and
Italy. Sunnier with patchy clouds in Greece and Turkey.
Breezy across France with showery rain north and west. Widespread rain
in the Low Countries and central Germany in the morning, falling as
snow first. Breezy here too. Similar weather passing through Czechia,
Slovakia, and Poland later. Switzerland and Austria to see rain and
snow as well, soon clearing. Drier with patchy sun in southeast Europe.
Heavy snow into Denmark, southern Norway, and southern Sweden near
dusk. Some snow showers into the Baltic states, drier and cloudy in
Finland.
Monday
Showers for Spain and Portugal on Monday. Rain affects Majorca, Ibiza
and Menorca. Corsica and Sardinia should be dry. A few showers in the
north of Italy, but generally fine with good spells of sunshine. Greece
and Turkey are both dry with plenty of sunshine.
Windy and unsettled in France. Some heavy showers across southern and
western France with rain and sleet in the north. Wet across Belgium and
Holland, as well as much of the west of Germany. Eastern parts of
Germany and Poland will be windy, but mostly dry. Hungary and Austria
are dry with sunny spells. Cloud and rain for Switzerland.
Windy with some showers in Denmark. Windy and wet in the Baltic States
and staying wet for Finland too. Wet with heavy showers across central
and southern Sweden and Norway, dry in the north and cold. Some snow
showers in the far north of Norway.
