Hi, Del...
> day - retired in '91 and have been going strong since then -
DLJ> Now we know whats going on, must be the Beaford Stew or Catfish.
DLJ> Hello Roger. Lets go flying in Boston and sample the seafood.
I'm looking forward to flying in Boston and the steamers at Ed's house
on Sunday evening - I got the Blenheim - it'll go well with the clams
and other "fixins"
> had - lost due to radio malfunction - been looking for another
DLJ> Didn't hear about that one... Hmmmmmm....
That Goldberg Extra 300 was the d___ best flying bird I ever had - still
don't know what did it in - sent the radio to Radio South, they didn't
find a REAL problem, but "updated" the RX to current specs, whatever
that means - I'm using the radio in my Mach One now - so far, no
problems.
DLJ> Midwest are good kits to build. The little 109 I am taking to Boston
DLJ> is a midwest. The sticks that was hanging on the wall in my plane room.
I'm really giving some big thoughts to the Midwest Extra 300s - it's nice
at 80" wingspan and would go real good with either a small gas-burner or
the ST 3000 I have - but, I have to get several other birds airborne before
I tackle the big Extra - maybe next year - I really have to get busy in
the shop this Winter - need to refill the hangar for next season's
flying - maybe the Boston trip will get me re-energized. TTYL - Roger
