subject: PSX vs N64

SS> Nope! I didn't hear any news that the psx will be a dvd
SS> system! N64 will win this year's battle!
Here's the FACTS: Go read: EGM Issue #103 (Feburay 1998) page 32 colum 2,
tittle: Playstation 64 Tidbits.
They tell you that Sony isn't sure yet if they are going to use DVD-RW (Which
is a WRITABLE DVD that Sony and Philips have been working on for 1 year now)
or
the new Mini-Disk format.
SS> PC> 3- That memory expansion thing for the 64DD.. Do you have a price
SS> PC> tag on that? The 64DD might be low, but that's casue they are
SS> PC> selling the memory a part.. it's going to cost you around another
SS> PC> 100$ for it.. so it makes 100$ + 80$ = 180$ for your 64DD..
SS> It will not! Your just saying that because you think psx2
SS> can win! Ha! Just wait until the 64dd comes out with cool
SS> new games. Earthbound looks better than ff7!
Um? New cool games!? Yeah right, you mean REMAKES (AGAIN) ouou earthbound 64
(original) as if they didn't already ahve a Earth bound, and it's defenatly
NOT
going to beat FF7, I can tell you that, what else? Mario RPG II? wow..
original.. never saw a new RPG, they are all remakes... hmm, Mario 64 II..
geez, that's a new title... etc.. etc..
Look, the FACTS point that PSX will beat the 64DD anyday, it was writable
features, jsut like the 64DD, it has bigger a lot bigger storage capacity
(more
then 20 times). And well, it's better, offers better resolution/music and
all..
SS> PC> 4- The disks are SMALL in the 64DD.. mario could only double the
SS> PC> levels.. your 64DD will never bee any good..
SS> I don't believe you! Mario 64-2 can hold more than mario 64
SS> making it a bigger game!
SS> My 64dd... It for everyone who owns a n64! You can't buy
SS> the 64dd until you pay more for a n64 if you haven't got
SS> one!
Just to tell you, there might not even be a 64DD, you want some more facts?
Ok,
sure, here -> EGM issue #104 (March Issue) page 38 1st colum, title: Trouble
Brewing at Nintendo. Second title: Ah, but this is just the beggining..
