I like the Sig EZ Hinges. When I don't use those, I'll use a standard DuBro
plastic hinge like you have there, but instead of glueing it, I'll pin it.
Of course, do this ONLY if the hinge is installed in spruce stock... balsa is
a bit soft and the pin may work out. I use regular flathead dressmaker's
pins and after driving in, cut the point with a pair of flush end-cutters.
Pinning makes future repairs easy and eliminates the possibility of glue
fouling the hinge.
