I sure haven't... ack.  I'll have to try that.  My dad's 1992 F-150 has much 
more play in the steering though.. wonder if it's the same design?  His is so 
bad that I'm scared to drive it on windy days (it has 189,000 miles on it.. 
and no typos on the miles or year)...
