BG>Maintain thy air speed, else the ground will come up and slap thee stupid!
BG> EP> FWIW, I have a Marlin 336 in .35 Remington. With a 1-1/2X

BG>Well, he is still around. I was beginning to believe the hogs got you.
No, I've just been really busy on some of that local level
off-topic stuff. It's about over, and I should be back to normal
by the end of next week. EP
BG>I have carried my 336 Marlin in my truck for about 20 years. It is beat up
BG>from hauling all over Texas and three surrounding states. It has its own
BG>saddle case , cause it has spent a lot of time horse back. Yes, its old,
but
BG>it still gets the job done. And if I would load down from a 200 grain
BG>bullet, it might not have as much felt recoil. But regardless of recoil, I
BG>think the .35 Remington is one of the finest working, saddle guns made.
Just
BG>my opinion.
BG>Movin on!

I'm still a believer in the old, big, slow moving bullets. I
also have a Marlin 1895 in 45-70; and it's a real thumper.
