Dear Larry,
Yes there are. But the compensation can vary from $5/hr to $100/hr. Also
beware of scams.
I do engineering work for various firms in the area. I charge an hourly rate,
no benefits. They mark me up to their clients so they make money too.
Everyone seems happy. But beware of scams. I was also making model railroad
signals for a manufacturer -- soldering brass parts together. I write
magazine articles and make railroad drawings for magazines. There is plenty
out there to keep me busy. I trust you will find this to be the case also.
Good luck.
