Hi, Pete. PC> IS> It did for a while, but I notice it conked out again at the end PC> IS> of October. I've posted a query to Z3_ECHO_NEWS; will sing out PC> IS> if I hear anything. PC> FM> Thanks Ian, please do. I've still seen nothing. I lost my PC for PC> FM> about a week and was rather hoping to get a meg or so of Delphi PC> FM> when it came back. No such luck - not a message! PC> I've just hooked this area in a hope of finding out more about Delphi PC> or the existance of a Delphi echo, the way you talk there is one so i PC> assume it's called DELPHI, i'm currently a VB3 user but as MS have PC> failed to supply a REAL compiler with VB4 and instead opted for the PC> P-CODE concept with all the runtime libs i'm thinking of shifting to PC> Delphi. There is a Delphi echo, and it's called DELPHI. :-) Unfortunately, the feed doesn't seem to come the same route that other international echoes come (I think it's from Canada) and it hasn't been too reliable. No messages for over a month. You could also try the international Pascal echo, there's the occasional message on Delphi, and I think any question would have a good chance of being answered there. Delphi is a true compiler and, IMHO, is better implemented than VB - but I've only looked at VB very casually and certainly not the latest release(s). Regards, FIM. * * Why, oh why, Lord, did you create stupid people too? @EOT: ---* Origin: Pedants Inc. (3:711/934.24) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 711/809 808 50/99 635/503 633/371 374 267 |
