I've got a '66 Ford Truck, 6cyl - 240 - Fleetside - Long Wheelbase.
The truck had some sloppy steering, as well - and there's a big screw, with a
lock-nut on the steering colunm, under the hood. I know this is elementary,
but have you tried backing off the lock-nut and tightening the screw? Made
up for about 2 1/2" of play in my steering wheel.
Regards,
-Jeff
