Disregard my post on the upload problem in Win2000. I just got it fixed.
It turned out to be a problem with the way Win2000 handles the Environment
Variables. Just incase anyone runs into this. I just had to go to System >
advanced > Environment_Variables and add a new setting with
"dszlog" as the
variable, and "~PL" as the value then it all started working. :-)

"Bother," said Pooh to DOUG GLEASON about Uploades in Win2000.

DG>I have everything working running Telegard under Win2000 with one
DG>dial up and two Telnet nodes except for a problem with uploads. When
DG>I try to upload a file the file transfers but I get an error at the
DG>very end of the transfer and the file is not saved. This is what is
DG>reported in the log

DG>"Upload Error - Transfer log not found"

DG>I'm thinking this may be a timing issue like one I also had with the
DG>InitString that I fixed by adding |~~~ to the end of it.

DG>Dose anyone know of a way to add a pause at the end of an upload to
DG>slow down things to give it time to recognize the end of the file?
DG>Like adding something to the Cexyz command line or something?

Don't know anything about Cexyz, but I know with DSZ you had to setup
the file transfer log. If it didn't find it, TG would delete the file
and forget the upload.....

-> COM/IP doesn't have these problems under Win98, just win2k.

Problems with COM/IP and Win2k were resolved in version 2.2.5:

[README.TXT]

======================================================================
NEW IN V2.2.5

Windows 2000 Bug Fixed

Under some circumstances the Windows 2000 driver was causing
system crashes and reboots. This has been fixed.

INT14 Workaround for Buggy BBS Doors

Certain Door programs erroneously put garbage data in the upper
8 bits of the DX register when calling the INT14 driver, which
causes COM/IP's driver to receive an out-of-range COM port
number. COM/IP now ignores the upper 8 bits, which works around
this faulty behavior while still providing support for up to
255 COM ports via the INT14 interface.

If anyone needs it, its called COMIP225.ZIP on my BBS. Email freqs available
at tlrbbs{at}yahoo.com. Put FREQ on subject line. Put FREQ COMIP225.ZIP on first
line in message. Filesize approx. 1.1MB.

DG> I have been using Netmodem/32 for telnet onto my BBS under Win98se but
DG> I am checking out Win2000 and Netmodem will not run under 2000. I'm
DG> looking for another program like Netmodem that will run under win2000.
 DG> Anyone know of one?

SA> How about com/ip or the related type programs?

I found that the next day I posted my message two weeks ago. I'm using it now
but it has a bug where I can only run one telnet node at a time under win2k.
If I run more then one node it is very hard to connect to the BBS,
sometimes it will take more then 10 tries. The uploads are also very flaky.
Their working on these problems now and said they will have a fix out
shortly.
COM/IP doesn't have these problems under Win98, just win2k.
