I'm in love with APC props. For the same diameter and pitch, I'll get
anywhere from 800 to 1500 rpm more than a Master Aircrap.

Including the seat? I mean the entire assembly, not just the needles. The
needles wear more than the seats, but the seats will also wear resulting in a
new needle actually fitting worse than the old one. Like in a car, the
valves and seats wear to fit each other. Needle valves begin performing
poorly when the taper wears into a step.

I wouldn't count on Tower or Global... the mail-order houses are little more
than brokerage houses for new items and they don't keep old parts in stock at
all, and only stock commonly requested parts for their most popular lines.
