I should have thanked you for your help re the History of Word Processing - 
at least you made an effort to give me some advice.  I need the general area 
but will try Microsoft for any info they can give (I've already done a talk 
on the history of Word itself).  
I'm quite happy to post anything I find on this site or to give directions as 
to where others who may be intersted might find info - but the problem seems 
to be actually FINDING anything.  Still I'm coming up with friends who still 
have Commordore 64's and Trs 80's in working order so will be able to add 
actual examples to my talk.
Sorry you got into trouble from Lawrence (who actually assumed I was a HE 
which I am not) - I took your suggestion as just that and not an ORDER.
