  But consider this:
- A PC game's image is clearer & sharper; most console games are 320x200, or
        at best 320x200 interpolated to 640x480.
- PC sound often offers more bang for the buck.  A $350 (Canadian) Cambridge
        Soundworks speaker system is probably a lot beefier than a $350 
stereo.
- You use more than just games on a PC.
 I'm not sure if one's advantages outweighs the other, but the PC is not such
a waste of money as a gaming rig as it might seem.
