I think you're giving the 64dd too much credit. All it is is an add-on for 
the n64. It's certainly not as good as a new system. It's not going to add 
that much to the game play, other than the fact that games can be larger now. 
And as far as the rewritable thing goes, is that even necessary for a video 
game system?

First of all, there are no certain dates for the psx2 or katana. Second, you 
decided to avoid my main point about new systems. psx will not just die off 
simply because it has easily the best software library of any current system, 
and obviously, a new system like the katana will have a limited selection of 
titles.
