Sure they work, I use Dave Browns all the time. Its worth the money.

Look up Kurt Estabrooks, he runs a BBS in Taylor Mich. He flies too from what
I
hear and he offers a R/C related (Full Scale too) Network with some serious
fliers on it who meet one a year to Fly together. I know, I am one of the
group...
