  MIDI in Surround Sound still sounds like MIDI - that's the problem.  It's 
like my friend's '86 Dodge Aries: despite the 400+ Watt sound system, the 
$700 wheel rims, the new engine and (soon) a new suspension, it's still an 
Aries.
