subject: ISAM variable-length demark?

Hi Mike,

Replying to a message of Mike Luther to All:

Good ISAM systems do not use demarcation characters to delimit records. If
the records can be varying length they use a length prefix, typically a
16-bit or 32-bit binary integer. I would recommend same.

Regards

Dave
