Comparing, say, the gameplay of PC Doom vs. Jaguar Doom is one thing.  When 
the conversation drifts off into how Doom plays better with a GeeWhiz 3D 
video card as opposed to a GollyGee 3D video card, runs better on one PC 
operating system than another, whether one type or amount of RAM is better 
than another, which AUTOEXEC.BAT statements need changing...  Well, at that 
point, I usually decide that the conversation no longer relates to consoles 
enough to belong in this echo.
