As long as you reinforce the floor with steel plate to keep the floor from
being pulled through in the case of an extremely quick stop (in case of
meeting an immovable object perhaps?). Some people like using aluminum plate
but don't consider corrosion between steel and aluminum (called dissimilar
metal corrosion) and the aluminum rots the steel, and then the floor is
Flintstone style. Same thing goes with using aluminum pop rivets in the steel
panels. You CAN use them, but only if primer is applied to the rivet before
it's installed, to keep the two metals from direct contact.
