It sounds like a mismatch in printer driver or some problem associated with 
the network printer setup.  I've seen many cases where a document would print 
fine while connected to a local printer, but did not look the same when 
printed on the network printer.  If you have the capability to print the 
document to a local connected printer, that would be a good test.
If the document is not confidential, I'd be happy to look at it and test it 
with my Laserjet III.  I am in the Houston area, so you could send the
