Hello Roger!
Replying to a message of Roger Marshall to John Meroth:
RM> Hello again, Captain D...
RM> I wish I had gotten into computer applications, including
RM> programming,
RM> years before I did, finally, at age 50 - my work involved setup and
RM> programming of industrial computers (DEC's VAX system and Honeywell's
RM> DCS systems) in synthetic polymer work - most programming was in
RM> FORTRAN with just a little in Pascal, never got into C but wish I had.
RM> That's the most enjoyable work I ever did - I envy you guys that are
eep
RM> into it - I miss it - actually, that's the only stuff I miss about the
RM> job.
RM> Anyway, it's good to see you on the echo again - tell us about your
RM> latest flying creation.
Actually, I haven't flown in a coupl,e of years, now. My Single Stick Ace
died last year and I haven't gotten around to sending it off for repair. I'll
be sending it out in the next week or so.
TTYL,
John Meroth
