This is a bit off topic here in OS/2 Programming, but I use a util
called setdate which allows you to make environ vars of
practically anything to do with the date, such as day of week, day
of month, month, year etc., so it becomes a simple line like
if %DAY% == 01 or if %DOW% == Mon or if %MON% == Jan, etc.
