subject: TG help...

Well when I first started BBSing in 1983 I called many boards out
there. WWIV, Spitfire, Wildcat, PCboard, RA, RG and others. My first was
a cp/m system locally. About my 3rd call that winter was a Telegard
system. Since then I've fell in love ever since. I never looked back. I
personally in my opinion never found anything better for my needs or other
needs. I would then become a Beta site and a major helper in the TG world
(well maybe minor - being humble here :)). TG alllowed users and sysops
not to worry about things. If they wanted a FEM they had that choice.
They didn't have to code new modules like WWIV or be a programmer. It
allowed plug and play before that term was coined. Unlike many other
softwares that FORCED their own software and that was it. TG gave choice
and free will.

TG will always remain in my heart as the top. Who knows If Tim hadn't
lost the code I'd have done a version 4 myself. But fate has played that
hand. As with Time which I didn't have much.

Carol is the last of the Betas here and so she will be the last defender.
Good luck. If folks still need help or my help fiels they can contact me
and if I can get to them will. But I'm sure Carol and others will be of
use.

I hereby throw the baton out...
