Shouldn't be a problem if you manufacture adapter plates that bolt to the new
seat and the older holes, out of 1/8 or 3/16 plate steel. I didin't have to
o
it, and I have a seat from a 1991 F150 in my '77 F250. The holes were within
1/16" of being in line, so I used a rotary "drill file" to oval shape the
holes to fit. In the case of a seat that the width of the brackets is a
problem, you may have to adapt with plates. This was the case in using a
ench
seat from a Dodge van in my '79 E150 van, where the mounting holes existed,
but the previous owner left his seat behind when he moved (real dipstick,
his
guy).
