subject: Foam Wing Cutting

Hi Neil!
-
You asked if I have cut foam wings before. Yes, I have. I
successfully cut a wing for my glider, but it came out not so smooth,
sorta bumpy. I used a car battery charger 12volts 6amps on a 4foot wire
bow. I think it's not enough power or something. I want to know what I'm
doing wrong? That's why I asked if anyone knew if there were any issues
of RCM that had text on the subject. I just want to cut perfectly smooth
wings so I can continue with my project, wich is to make good but very
cheap gliders. My wife got me a buddy box for christmas, so guess what
I'm going to do? I'll give you a hint, I'm trying to push electric
gliding, not enough of it around here as far as I'm concerned. I know of
some kids who would love to buy one at a hobby shop but can't afford it.
I think someone should make them available to kids that can't afford to
buy even the cheaper ones made out of wood.
Anyway, ran oout of time. Later.
Gjp.
