Absolutely nothing showed up in checking the .INI files about this. But
remember, I left an ALTERED line in the CONFIG.SYS which had the library
path directive for the JAVA131 deal! I suspect this line was added-to by
the JDK for 1.3.1 when I added it. What I did here was simply remove the
citation for the #:\emx\emx that was there, leaving the other in place.

Curiously, what I need is only the 16 color 80X24 line video for what I
want! That's one of the reasons I wanted to study this.

I thought a tab was supposed to be five not eight spaces? Why would that
change in OS/2? I could be wrong on that, probably so. At the OS/2 level
you could even use a DOS-VDM editor like QE or even WS for non-document
mode, then act on the resulting text with the OS/2 toolset! I find myself
doing that even with the C/C++ Watcom stuff at times!
BJ> Ok, where did I hide that copy of a VI clone for OS/2?
I didn't know it existed.
BJ> Come join the fun / insanity on working on the code.... ;)
People keep giving me Linux installation this and that's. At the moment I
don't have a box with which to do that.
However .. two of the boxes now have 9GB worth of free drive space. I was
thinking about CONNECTIX, but don't have the CPU power at the moment,
though I do have the memory for this... I'm getting there.
--> Sleep well; OS/2's still awake! ;)
