Hello, Gaelyne!!
You recently bespoke the following to me ...

-> Not on the net, but if you subscribe to Loadstar, you can receive it in .D64
-> .D81 format and receive it via Email. Dave has sent me a few issues this wa

Yeah, Lance was sorta telling me the same thing! I'll still have to
figure out which version of VICE that I should use, first - i.e. the
DOS one or the Windows one. I'll be running it on my IBM ThinkPad
laptop, under Win98SE (or DOS, if that's the case).
Was I correct in what I stated to Lance -- that, if I want to run
some of the programs from my old LoadStar disks, that I'll have to
create .d64 images out of those disks, and then port them over to my PC
using BBR or LRR?? I can do that, it's just that I need to know that
this is what is necessary, etc.
-> I've even used QWKRR with Vice but gads, I missed my Ramlink! It wasn't qui
-> by any means, but I did eventually find out when to turn off full disk
-> emulation
-> and when to turn it on.
LOL! Yeah, I still have two "real" 128 systems setup over here; one
"C" and one "D" - and each of 'em has a RamLink
attached. Maybe, if I
get brave, I'll try to run QWKRR on the VICE. [g!] That effort should
certainly keep me busy for a while! [g!]
Thanks for chiming in!!! Always nice to hear from a fellow Michigan
native. ;-)
