If she was raised by her stepfather, who is american indian, and was raised

be *culturally* native american, she has every bit as much right in my
pinion
to consider herself native as I do, who was raised by my white mother in a
city with only a small part of my upbringing in contact with the rather
homogeneous local indian association.
