I am by no means an expert but we were having similar problems using
Pagemaker. We found it easier to name each page as a separate file.
I think it might be because if you save the pictures as TIFF files (which
seem to print more clearly) they each take up several meg of memory. If
you have 5 photos each of about 5 meg, there goes your 24 meg memory.
By doing each page as a separate file, you can put in as many photos as
will fit on the page.
