RM>> It's the /only/ Pogues song that I've ever heard played on a
 RM>> mainstream radio station.

DB> ..that's one more than I've ever heard on a mainstream station.

Heh. I'm not surprised. We've got a DJ here in Memphis that plays "Bottle Of
Smoke" every now and again, believe it or not. (When you see the lyrics, I
think you'll see why that's quite amazing.. )

DB> Thankfully, we have a free-form station around here that allows the
DB> DJ's to play whatever they want.

Cool! We have a similar station here. It's not free-form, exactly.. the DJs
are all volunteers, and each (1 to 3 hour) show is dedicated to a specific
genre of music, or takes a theme to connect various musical styles.

DB> A lot of the time it ends up being music I'm not particularly
 DB> interested in,

Well, yeah. WEVL might have a jazz show followed by a klezmer show, with
a blues show following that. ;-) But within each show itself, if I like
that show, I find that I enjoy almost /all/ the music.

DB> ..but I have caught the Pouges on there a few times along with
 DB> the Young Dubliners.

Outstanding! Which Pogues songs do they play?
