subject: QM Pro for Win 95

DM>I just installed Qmodem Pro for Windows 95, version 2.0. It seems to
DM>work okay but it sure is different from the old DOS version that I
DM>was using. For instance in the Terminal screen I don't ever see my init
DM>string and when I try to type in AT queries such as ATI4, ATI5, etc, I
DM>am unable to do so. No type appears on the screen.
DM>I'm still reading the manual but I haven't found an answer yet. Can/will
DM>some experienced Qmodem user clue me in as to how I type into the
DM>terminal screen and get AT info? Thanks for any and all help.

JM>Hi,
JM> I have been searching around and I want to get terminal mode in
Qmodm PRO
JM>for win 95, so that i can use AT commands and all, but i cant find it
JM>anywhere, can somoen help me??? Thanks
        Jason,
Open Qmodem, click on "Connection", then click "Direct
Connection". This will bring up a direct connection screen.
Make sure everything is as it should be, (Comm port, baud rate,
etc.) then click OK, and you can then issue commands directly to
        your modem.
