Hmmmm -- the last I knew the Cherokee nation came from the south eastern 
 continental US, not from Alaska; and the two federally recognized 
divisions are in Oklahoma and North Carolina.  That doesn't mean there 
aren't any Cherokees in Alaska.  The way folks move around these days, 
you might find a Cherokee almost anywhere.
