Hi, Patti,
PJ> It was so good to see a message from you. I too dropped off the
PJ> face of the planet for a time being, but I'm back, and it's good to
PJ> see some of the 'ol'timers' still here.
Oh, it is good hearing from you, too! How has life been treating you?
 PJ> Hopefully you're starting to
PJ> feel better, and are getting settled in your new abode.
I'm a little less sore, but am still wearing a wrist brace and sitting
down _very_ carefully. I'm borrowing the money to hire some movers (and
do they ever run expensive!) and moving day is set for the 29th. You
know, as much as I've complained about the problems I've had with the
current abode, I'm really going to miss it and I'm going to miss living
in this neighborhood. Hey, how many city neighborhoods have a fry bread
stand?
Well, I guess it's back to the packing. The kitchen is next.
I hope things are going well for you.
Take care,
Robin
PS February 11, 1998
Got all safely moved and I'm slowly getting things unpacked. I just got
the computer hooked up five minutes ago. :-) It looks like the movers
forgot to pack the things in one drawer in the kitchen in my old
apartment. At least, the can opener, rolling pin, and some other
utensils weren't in any box labelled 'kitchen'. I didn't want to have
any further contact with a landlord that would terminate a lease five
days before Christmas, but I guess I'll have to (after I take a quick
look at what's in the boxes marked 'misc.'
Take care,
Robin
