I like hockey, violence or not.  I like chicken wings, hot sauce or not, for
that matter..  but fighting spices it up.
Btw, if you like hockey without the violence, why not just go get a snack
when the boys drop the gloves?  Seems silly to shelf a sport because you
have an objection to a small, insignifigant part of it.
Another thing that just struck me as I was writing this..  surely you've
watched an occasional NHL playoff game..  there is NO fighting in them, and
very few vicious stick attacks..  what's wrong with playoff hockey?
