Hello Shannon.

18 Oct 05 20:40, you wrote to me:

ST|> You didn't waste "any" time getting and testing that mod.
 Going back
ST|> through some of the messages on PhPBB's website regarding that Mod, it
ST|> appears as though others have had that same problem.

When I get an idea, I tend to get right into it :)

ST|> I think it would be better -- and likely easier -- to implement an
ST|> executable tosser of sorts that could import/export from/to an NNTP
ST|> server and toss it to PhpBB's MYSQL database. I think it's easier
ST|> using the NNTP server because one doesn't have to go back and try to
ST|> figure out all of those fidonet kludges, one could let the NNTP server
ST|> sort that stuff out instead. It could be a simple import/export
ST|> utility that could run on top of other applications (like in a tray
ST|> environment of sorts). Heck, I think that would be a good add-on for
ST|> Internet Rex!

Well. the development of IREX seems to be next to nil (Much to my
dissapointment as a 1000 node server owner as there are issues preventing
me from using it under Linux.)

In order to perform what you say above, we would need a programmer to help
out. I may attempt something on my own, but there are zero promises of
anything actually working :)

Robert
