I own Excel 4.0, not 5.0 or the Win95 version. It came with, I think, VBasic. 
It had a nice manual. I never used the Macro capability since I don't dabble 
much with spreadsheets. Will my manual work for the new Word macros?
 
I agree with you about the number of languages. My first language (computer) 
was a TI 99A. I cut my teath on its language. Never heard of "sofware in 
those days".
 
Have you had any problem with the conversions from Word95 to Word97? Does it 
convert the old macros to the new one?
