The Physics Fidonet Conference is devoted primarily to the discussion
of physics itself, physics teaching, and physics-related issues that
affect public policy and the environment. Our goal is to furnish a
forum where those with a casual interest in physics can have their
questions answered, and those with a professional interest can share
their expertise and curiosity with others.
Knowledge of physics, and how it relates to the world around us, is
becoming central to participation in our increasingly technical society.
Our purpose here is to be part of a forum that can help to improve and
refine that knowledge. Everyone is welcome to participate in this
conference: students, teachers, scientists, and anyone else with an
interest in the areas we cover.
If users enter inappropriate messages, please do not respond. There
is a moderator for this conference whose function is to keep the
discussions civil, and related to physics. He will intervene if and
when that becomes necessary. Users are invited to contact the
moderator, at an address listed below, to share any information that
they feel would be innappropriate to discuss in the conference.
This conference is available under the tag name PHYSICS on the Fidonet
North American Backbone.
