You say that the version of QmPro you have is pretty old.
Depending on how old it is, I have an idea which MAY solve your problem.
When you go into the Modem Configuration Function, did you SAVE the
changes BEFORE you Exited the Configuration Process. With the older
versions of QmPro this was a very Necessary Step or else all you Changes
would NOT be recorded. The Save function was on the Right Hand of the
screen Just above or below the Exit function, if I remember correctly...
You may want to check that out... If you have E-mail capability,
