MC>If you have any suggestions I sure would be VERY willing to listen. I had
MC>saved qmpro to disk when I sold my old 286 machine, and aparently, the
MC>disk I saved it to is bad. When unzipping the program, I had errors in
MC>all of the following files: ANSIPAT.EXE CONFIG.HLP DORWAY.EXE
DWCOMM.EXE
MC>DWHOST.COM DWHOST.OVR and QMGATE.EXE. I beleive all these files are
MC>dealing with the HOST mode, which seems to work anyway. Could any of
MC>these files have anything to do with the whole program not working good?
With regard to your comments above, I would suggest if you had
disk read problems on all those files, you may have had other errors,
which could be causing some of these other problems. Do you have your
Original QmPro Install disks? I would suggest you do a Complete
Re-install of QmPro.
If you think you have problems, when I updated to my new System,
when I tried to start up QmPro all I would see was a TOTALLY BLACK
screen. Normal key functions would work but I could see NOTHING. I ended
up having to get a different Video card. The ATI card I originally got
just wouldn't work with QmPro. I got a Diamond Stealth64 and everything
works fine. Now that I went to all that expense, there is next to no
activity on the BBS anymore. Everybody has switched to the Net it seems,
as I have.
