Well I just posted what I was to understand happened on that. It was canceled
until sometime after Christmas because Sega and Sony practically OWN the
airwaves right now. Would the average person even notice 1 Atari ad mixed in
with 30 or 40 Sega/Sony ads?

From what I have read they spend more money than Atari is WORTH to run ads on
TV and stuff. Supposedly Sony spent 2.3 Billion marketing the PlayStation. I
wonder if Sam would sell Atari for that if someone offered ;')))))

Well to be honest if I had thought the Sega Saturn were better I would have
bought one. In the last 3 months I have spent around 1300.00 For my
PlayStation and 17 games for it. Also I am considering buying a used Saturn
as a 2nd system (a 2nd, Second generation system) I have decided not to buy a
Jaguar even used at this point. They are sellig for 99.00 now and I figure
theres a good reason. Honestly I think the Jaguar is worth alot more than
99.00 and if Atari is selling for that much there must be a GOOD reason.
Kinda reminds me of the guy that walks up to ya in the street and says
Pssssst I have a 200.00 watch and I am going to let you have it for
10.00....If you know what I mean...... IMHO Sony, Sega, and even Jaguar are
really close as far as being good systems.  Thats why I say the Jaguar is
worth more than 99.00. I don't think the Jaguar is any Better than the PSX or
Saturn but I think its as good in most areas. Its only problem as far as I
can see is who is marketing it. I really don't think that even if Atari went
back into making computers they would do any better. After all consider they
stated that the reason they left was because they could not successfully
market them and it appears they have had the same problem with game consoles.
Maybe someone is really using their head recently because they have recently
said they will be making games for the PC, Sony PlayStation, and the Sega
Saturn....
