MC-> I have an old version of Q-modem Pro that I had been using in my 286
based
MC-> machine. I have now upgraded to a Pentium 166 running Windows 95. My
probl
MC-> is that my old version of Qmpro, running in Dos mode, won't initialize
y
MC-> modem. Nothing at all happens. And this old version of qmpro don't even
MC-> have my modem (supra 28.8) in its configuration files.
MC-> Does anyone have any input on this problem? If not, is there a W-95
MC-> available so I don't have to run it in Dos mode? Or do I just have
MC-> a setup problem?
MC-> I have tried just about everything without any luck. The program worked
MC-> great with my 286 in dos mode and a zoom 14.4 modem.
MC-> Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
Here a couple of Internet sites for Mustang Software "Qmodem"
                         telnet://bbs.mustang.com

                         ftp://mustang.com/ftp
You need download the config data file, "QMPRO.PDF", from Mustang's BBS.
This file has the data for the newer 28.8s modems. If you have Internet
access, try this site "telnet://bbs.mustang.com". Try your local BBS
and see if this file available.
or call one of these BBSs: Mustang's BBS at (805) 873-2400
French Quarter BBS at (504) 891-1388
Note:
