Anyone have any ideas on how to save envelope setting such as fonts,
feed options, etc, using WinWord 97 (ver 8.0)?
This method works in Word 6.0 so try for word 8.0 :
Set up your Envelope how you wish and before printing try the following  
going out of document try the following 
 
        1. From the Format menu, choose Style.
 
         2 Choose the Organizer button.
 
      3. The window on the left shows the styles for the current
              document. The window on the right shows the styles available
              in NORMAL.DOT (or the desired template). If it does not,
              choose NORMAL.DOT (or the desired template) from the Styles
              Available In list.
 
        4. Select the Envelope Address style from the current document
              (left Window) and choose the Copy button. Choose Yes when
              Word asks if you want to replace the current style.
 
       5 Select the Envelope Return style from the current document
              (left Window) and choose the Copy button. Choose Yes when
              Word asks if you want to replace the current style.
 
     6. Choose the Close button.
 
before you run the above take the option "add to document" from the Tools 
Envlope Screen.
