I won't adopt a belief until I see evidence that warrants picking it up.
It's rather muddied in my memory but I don't think I accepted
the concept of evolution in High School. The teachers didn't even
try to present the concept of natural selection and the implications
of the fossil record, glossing evolution over with the rest of
biology, geology, and paleontology that the classroom didn't have
time enough to delve in to in any detail. It was on BBS computers
and libraries that I saw the evidence would be an absurdity to
ignore or reject.
